I had to share my favourites from beautiful baby Etta’s newborn session.

If your here because your pregnant and your thinking of capturing such precious memories - congratulations! Please take a look around, read my blogs, get to know how a session might go (it’s chilled), get to know me, drop me a message of you’d like.

Etta is clearly so loved already - I think that shines thorugh in every image. Mum and Dad were so attentive to her, as was her big sister. One day she will look back at these images and be so thankful she has them. A snippet in time.

When you bring your baby home from the hospital you think they are going to be just that forever - I remember bringing home my little newborn and being so in love with this little person that we had waited so long to meet. I couldn’t believe how perfect she was. Of course all parents are proud and want to show off how beautiful their baby is! That’s where I come in. :) I want to creat beutiful images you can swoon over forever. Show them off on your walls to visitors, make your baby feel loved everytime they see they pictures up of them as a baby. It’s so special.

My goal is to capture that little sleep deprived love bubble that is the newborn stage. Your baby changes so much in the first few months of life (that fourth trimester) as they adapt to the outside world. They want to be held, comforted and fed. It’s a beautiful time, and before you know it, it’s gone….excuse me while I cry into my coffee.

Here's the thing, when you bring home a new baby, you live in almost a different universe to the rest of the world (except for other people who have a baby the same time as you - they are your people - go and find them and make friends because they’ll get you like nobody else does). I myself have almost forgotten how it felt to hold my little baby in my arms - although I do remember my back aching a lot. Life moves so fast, so as hard as it is mentally and physically, soak up all those little moments as best you can.

Take care,

Hannah x
